The Flash Joins Fortnite: What You Need to Know

Epic Games has just introduced the latest licensed character to join Fortnite this season - The Flash. This iconic superhero will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting February 13th, and fans of the game can get their hands on him before he dashes away.

But The Flash's arrival is not just a one-off event. Epic Games has also announced the release of The Flash Set, which includes various items that players can purchase to customize their characters. These items will be available starting at 3pm PT/7pm ET and 12am GMT on February 13th.

However, there's more to The Flash's arrival than just buying him in the Item Shop. For those who want to get their hands on his exclusive outfit and back bling, Epic Games has introduced a special tournament called the Flash Cup. This duos tournament will take place from February 10th to 13th, where players can team up with a friend to compete in a maximum of 10 matches within three hours.

To participate in the Flash Cup, players must have an account level of 30 and have two-factor authentication enabled. The top-performing duos in each region will not only unlock The Flash outfit but also the Speed Force back bling.

So, how can you win The Flash skin? According to the Flash Cup rules on the Epic Games site, a Victory Royale will net you the most points. Additionally, each elimination (worth 1 point each) will add to your total score. Reaching the top two, three, and so forth, follows in descending order.
